A huge THANK YOU to all the 126 plus of you that arrived at the Heath for our Jubilee celebrations.
An evening which was warm, sunny, and full of fun and laughter! Everyone brought along amazing amounts of food to add to the BBQ, played games and quizzes. Both children and adults either danced or bounced the night away and just before 10pm another 20 plus people came to see the beacon lit. We also watched beacons all around being lit to mark this special day. An amazing experience for us all; thoroughly enjoyed, to be remembered forever. Heath is a hamlet of only 12 houses to have up to 150 people helping us celebrate a very special event is truly wonderful and definitely one for the history books! You all helped make it a resounding success. Thank you. God Save Our Queen.
Our Jubilee celebrations didn't end there, we had a lovely Jubilee service the following Sunday. We were lucky again with the weather and were able to hold the service outside making the most of the evening sunshine. Thank you to all those who helped to arrange the service and those you attended. Another lovely evening; with lots of chatter and food enjoyed by all.
The Heath would like to thank Mr. Richard Mercer for everything he has done over the years for the church and our community and we wish him all the best in his retirement. We hope that he will still come and visit us at the Heath from time to time.
